Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of the faithful departed, through your mercy, rest in peace.
A week ago, the children bid farewell to Nana for the final time. It had not the best visit with her. She was rather unresponsive and in so much pain. Not once, did we get to see her bright smile nor hear her contagious laugh. Still, we were able to see her - to sit by her, to give her a kiss, to pray next to her, to let her know we loved her.
Later in the week, Nana passed.
Today, we pray, she is already welcomed into heaven, radiant with love, joy, and peace. We pray all dearly departed are. We also pray that those here who miss loved ones (like us) are granted grace and comfort.
