I have had the pleasure of receiving a review copy of the book How Do I Teach This Kid to Read: teaching Literacy Skills to Young Children with Autism, from Phonics to Fluency

Although the book is aimed at teaching reading to children on the autism spectrum, I feel that it is a useful book for improving any young child's phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension and fluency. The activities in it are clear, engaging and targeted to enhance important reading skills. Plus, the book comes with a cd-rom full of ready-made activity printables. Love that in a resource!
